About Khimsar Dunes Village
Located 6 kms from Khimsar Fort this village lies in the heart of the seven dunesKhimsar Village of 'Akla' measuring 8 kms in circumference. A water body in the centre makes it a perfect 60 acre oasis of peace. The village is surrounded by sand dunes in all directions. It is Accessible by jeep, Camel & horse. The cluster of huts resemble the local village hutments known as "dhanis". Each hut has a 17 ft thatched grass dome.the huts have independent courtyards which provide perfect privacy. The rooms are overlooking the water body with the sand dunes as a backdrop. They enjoy the complete silence & tranquility of the the thar desert !

There are dining facilities by the waterside and atop the dunes. Observe ducks, geese, fish & wild birds from the comfort of your hammock or water mattress. In tranquil silence of the golden sands sip tea while witnessing the beautiful desert sunset. Other activities include camel/horse expeditions, yoga, massage & star-gazing.

Khimsar DunesEach hut has lavish area of 300 square feet. The interiors are truly ethnic. Mud plastered walls with an earthen color palette.
